This Privacy Policy explains how AsiktoPRINT (“we,” “us,” or “the website”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit asiktoprint.com or subscribe to our updates.

We respect your privacy and process your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”) and the Finnish Data Protection Act (1050/2018).

2. Personal data we collect

We only collect personal data that is strictly necessary to operate the website and provide the service you have requested.

Information you give us directly:

  • Your email address and first name, when you subscribe to our mailing list
  • Any message you send to us via email

Information collected automatically:

  • IP address and approximate location when you submit forms (used to prevent abuse)
  • Browser type, operating system, and device type (for compatibility and security)
  • Pages visited, time spent, referring website (analytics, if you have consented to analytics cookies)
  • Cookie identifiers and consent records (so we remember your cookie preferences)

We do not collect special categories of personal data (health, race, religion, political opinions, etc.) and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16.

3. Why we process your data and our legal basis

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the third-party service providers we use to operate the website. Each of these processors has its own GDPR-compliant data processing terms in place.

Current processors:

  • Namecheap, Inc. / EasyWP — website hosting. Stores all website content and form submissions.
  • Google LLC (via Site Kit) — website analytics, if you have consented to analytics cookies. Data may be transferred to the United States under EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • MailerLite Limited (Cork, Ireland) / MailerLite UAB (Vilnius, Lithuania) — email list management and delivery. Stores your email address and first name and delivers our newsletter. MailerLite is GDPR-compliant and operates within the EU. Their privacy policy is available here.

If we add or change any processor, we will update this policy.

5. International data transfers

Some of our processors (notably Google) may transfer your data outside the European Economic Area. When this happens, we ensure that an appropriate safeguard is in place — typically the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or an adequacy decision.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Email subscriber list: for as long as you remain subscribed. Unsubscribe at any time and we will remove your email address within 30 days.
  • Email correspondence: up to 24 months after our last contact.
  • Website server logs: typically 30 days, then automatically deleted.
  • Analytics data: as configured in Google Analytics, currently 14 months.
  • Cookie consent records: 12 months, after which we will ask for your consent again.

7. Your rights under GDPR

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15) — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16) — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure / “right to be forgotten” (Art. 17) — ask us to delete your data
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18) — ask us to limit how we use your data
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20) — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Right to object (Art. 21) — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7) — withdraw any consent you previously gave
  • Right to lodge a complaint — file a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (see Section 10) if you believe we have not handled your data lawfully

8. Cookies
